Starting up the Vaughan Flex-Tred for the first time in about seven months. Originally used for cleaning under chicken barns, this unique little tractor was built as a walk behind unit by the Vaughan Motor Company of Portland, Oregon. It was originally painted grey and had a small blade on the front. The engine is roughly 5hp and drives the machine through independent planetary clutches and a single speed transmission all immersed in an oil bath. Pioneer Acres Museum, Irricana, Alberta.
