It is always nice to see a (modern) classic hard at work. But seeing something rare is even nicer. This Ford 7710 trike certainly qualifies for this category. The 2WD model is fitted with a non-powered turn-table at the front to evenly compact the seedbed over the drill's 3m width. Outside the drilling season the tractor is used back in it's normal shape. The chrome exhaust gives it a lovely sound when she's hard at work.
It is using a modified Accord 3m drill and Lely power harrow to drill parsley. This crop will be mown various times throughout the season, dried and sold in supermarkets. This combination is exclusively used for drilling a variety of herb seeds and even onions if required.
This unusual machine was filmed on April 9th in Biddinghuizen, the Netherlands.
